About the Role Join a Level III trauma center providing high acuity care in an 18 bed open ICU. You ll work alongside in house anesthesia (24/7) and have support from tele ICU physicians overnight. This role is ideal for an NP with strong critical care experience who is confident managing adult ICU patients independently.
Key Responsibilities
Manage ICU patients and complete admissions
Perform procedures: central lines, intubations, and other critical care interventions
Serve as a consultant within the open ICU model
Average patient census: 8 adult patients
Requirements
Board certified NP (ANCC or AANP)
DEA, ACLS, and BLS required
Minimum 1 year of critical care medicine experience
Must be able to perform required procedures (central lines, intubations)
Maryland license not required upfront candidates willing to obtain it are welcome
